Little House oN the prairie - the musical
Elora Community Theatre will be holding another round of auditions for Little House on the Prairie: the musical. Come be a part of this epic show and be part of the first cast in Canada to ever present this show!
We have a variety of roles for adults ranging in age from 20-50 years old. There are several roles for MEN, so if your husband, brother, friend of a friend can sing, please encourage them to come on out!

Audition Preparation:
Please prepare a 1 minute monologue and 2 contrasting musical pieces
(one in full, and the 2nd only 16-32 bars).
Also, please come prepared with the sheet music (in the correct key) in a binder for the accompanist. You should also wear comfortable clothes/shoes as there will be a 30min group dance component to the audition.

Audition slots will be on a first come first served bases and will be made in approximately 2-hour blocks to allow for small groups to work together on choreography and then break out individually to perform monologues & songs.

Ma (Caroline) - strong, devoted house-wife (~35-40, Alto G3-B4)
Laura - small-stature, outspoken, strong willed (13-16, Alto G3-E5)
Mary - polite and always does the right thing, motherly (14-17, Mezzo B3-F#5)
Carrie - mostly quiet but tells it like she sees it (6-8, Mezzo D4-F#5)
